A good quotation begins with the property and the way the opening will be used. We look at frame material, opening style, ventilation, glass specification, colour and sightlines. The best answer is not always the same for every room, so it is worth considering privacy, daylight, furniture positions and how often an opening will be used before settling on a specification.

From first enquiry to finished order
For a whole-house scheme, photograph every elevation and note which rooms need privacy, escape openings or regular ventilation. This helps keep external sightlines consistent without forcing every window to use the same internal arrangement.
Window prices change with size, opening pattern, glass, colour and access. Comparing quotations only works when those elements—and the installation and making-good included—are genuinely alike.

The external appearance benefits from consistent head heights, mullion positions, colours and glazing bars. Inside, however, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms can need different combinations of ventilation, privacy and opening access.

Questions about replacement windows
Can you replace a single window?
Yes. We can discuss one failed or difficult window, a new opening, a staged renovation or a complete property. The product and installation requirements are considered for the actual opening rather than a minimum package.
Should I choose uPVC or aluminium?
uPVC is a versatile and cost-effective choice with traditional and contemporary styles. Aluminium is often selected for slimmer sightlines, larger panes and a crisp architectural finish. We can compare the practical differences for your property.
Is double or triple glazing best?
That depends on the frame system, glass area, orientation, noise and the performance required. Triple glazing is not automatically the best answer for every opening, so glass and frame should be specified together.
