The best answer is not always the same for every room, so it is worth considering privacy, daylight, furniture positions and how often an opening will be used before settling on a specification.

Questions about door colours
Can the door be different colours inside and outside?
Many ranges provide dual-colour choices, though the available combinations vary. This can give the entrance a strong exterior colour while keeping the room-facing side neutral.
Should handles and letterplates match?
They do not have to, but considering handle, knocker, letterplate, numerals, hinges and glazing together produces a more coherent entrance. Finish availability varies by door range.
Will the colour look exactly like it does online?
Screens and photography can shift colour and sheen. We recommend using current manufacturer samples and considering them beside the brickwork, render and interior finishes.
